Google Snaps Up Stats Tool from Swedish Charity
A stats program that began as a teaching aid for a university lecture has just been bought by Google for an undisclosed sum. The statistics tool, Trendalyzer, was developed by a professor and his son at Stockholm’s Karolinska Institute. The professor gets no payment for his work, while Google plans to collect together all the worlds stats.
This seems quite a cool program. Using Web 2.0 technologies makes the statistics much more friendly to use
MySpace News (another Digg clone?)
News came last week that MySpace is getting into the online news aggregation game. MySpace is making the news social, allowing users to: rate and comment on every news item that comes through the system and submit stories they think are cool.
